I am a subscriber, but when I tried to register using my name and address, the web site could not locate my subscription. Why doesn't this work?
To register using your name and address, you must enter the information exactly as you did when you subscribed to Special Situation Survey. What's the difference between an initial survey, supplementary review, close out and special report? How often are these documents published?
The Forbes Special Situation Survey newsletter service consists of the following items:
Initial Survey: This is the initial stock recommendation, published once each month. Each report is devoted to only one stock and consists of a thorough analysis explaining what the company does and why it is an attractive investment.
Supplementary Reviews: These are one-page follow-up reviews on prior recommendations. They inform you about important developments that have taken place since the recommendation was first made. And they advise you as to whether the stock is still considered a Buy or a Hold. Supplementary Reviews are typically issued about once every quarter.
Close Outs: These are final reviews on a position advising investors that the service will no longer follow the stock. Close outs are issued either because the stock has reached our target and additional appreciation is not expected, or because conditions at the company have changed significantly since the recommendation was initially made.
Special Reports: These are reports covering various topics of interest to investors. Past Special Reports have covered macroeconomic issues, such as the Federal Reserve's leanings on interest rate changes, as well as more specific commentary on investment strategies. These are not issued at any regular interval.
